At Women for Refugee Women, we support women who have fled persecution including rape, gender-based violence, domestic violence, forced marriage, female-genital cutting, sexual violence, torture and trafficking to rebuild their lives on their own terms.

Story

We've taken the plunge and are cycling from London to Brighton on Sunday 15 September to raise money for Women for Refugee Women. The iconic 55-mile route will be the furthest most of us have ever cycled!

This brilliant cause supports women who have fled persecution including rape, gender-based violence, domestic violence, forced marriage, female-genital cutting, sexual violence, torture and trafficking to rebuild their lives on their own terms.

Through its programme of empowerment activities, it supports a network of over 350 refugee and asylum-seeking women to develop their confidence and skills, whether that be through speaking her first words of English or leading campaigns.

Please give what you can - to make change, women’s voices need to be heard.

Thank you!

Mariam, Nikita, Sarah and Rhiannon
