The What:

We are joining forces with ‘London Live Church Notting hill’, to take part in the ‘London 10k Shine walk’. Our mission is to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK, an organization dedicated to fighting cancer and saving lives.

Throughout the walk, we will offer prayers for those affected by cancer, providing spiritual support alongside our physical effort.

This event is more than just a walk; it’s a celebration of hope and community. Participants will enjoy uplifting Gospel music spanning genres like praise and worship, hip hop, afrobeats, soca, and Hillsong. It’s a unique opportunity to experience inspiring new songs from both established and emerging artists while making a meaningful impact.

We are also supporting our church member ‘Pedro Jesus Reyes’ who will be running in the Royal Parks half marathon for cancer research on 11th October 2026. Together, we aim to reach our fundraising target of £1,000 — a goal that can be achieved if just 200 people donate £5 each.

The When:

Shine Walk - Saturday 19th September 2026 at 8.20pm

The walk will take roughly 2hours to complete

The How To Take Part:

To take part in the Shine Walk, there is a sign-up fee of £20 which helps cover event costs. We encourage all participants to also contribute donations towards our fundraising goal. Sign-ups must be completed by Sunday 30 August 2026 or until capacity is reached — so act quickly to secure your place!
