Hollie’s London Marathon for Dementia 🏃🏻‍♀️

Hollie Mullins is raising money for Alzheimer's Society

London Marathon 2026 · 26 April 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Almost 2 years into my running journey and I’m lucky enough to have a place in the London Marathon in 2026 🎉 I’ll be running with team Alzheimer’s Society in support of friends and family who have faced, or are facing, the reality of a loved one living with dementia.

This cause means a huge amount to me - I’ve seen first hand how dementia doesn’t just affect memory, it changes everything for the person and the people who love them.

Training and running 26.2 miles is going to be incredibly hard but it’s nothing compared to what those living with dementia and those loving patients go through every day and THAT is what will get me through the long runs, the lost toe nails, and every step on the 26th April.

From the moment someone starts worrying about their symptoms, Alzheimer's Society can be there for them. Your support means that people don't have to face this condition alone, and that together, we can build a better tomorrow for everyone affected by dementia 💙🩵
