Running the London Marathon for St. Wilfrid’s Hospice (Chichester)

Katie Rose is raising money for St. Wilfrid’s Hospice (Chichester)

London Marathon 2026 · 26 April 2026 ·

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides tailored end of life care both in the community and at our Hospice, supporting our patients living with a terminal illness, and their family and friends. We rely on the generous support of our community to raise the £10million we need each year to fund our services.

Story

I am running the 2026 London Marathon to raise money for St Wilfrid's Hospice. This charity helped me and my family during the toughest time in my life when I lost my dad.

My dad was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2020 and battled it for 4 years, but in February 2024 we suddenly lost him. In the 24 hours before he passed St Wilfrid’s managed to get us a room so my dad could get the proper care he needed and deserved. The staff at the hospice were amazing with my dad and my whole family. St Wilfrid’s weren’t just amazing during everything as they continued to support us after as well.

Any donations would help make a massive impact for other people and family’s who are also going through a hard time and need a place like St Wilfrids.

Thank you for any contributions to this wonderful charity, it really does mean so much to me. And hopefully I can get through the 42.2km of this marathon!!!
