Crisis London to Edinburgh cycle challenge, raising vital funds for people experiencing homelessness.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

From Monday 2 September to Sunday 8 September 2024, we will each be taking on the huge challenge to cycle 500 miles from London to Edinburgh in 7 days, raising vital funds for Crisis.

Being homeless is more than a lack of physical shelter; it's the lack of affordable, safe and secure accommodation. Crisis work to relieve the huge pressure of homelessness, by helping people find safe and affordable homes as quickly as possible.

The Specsavers Team is made up of three pedal pushing heroes:

Adrian McCann - Director, Leven store

David McGinty - Director, Aberdeen store

Lee Penfold - Director, Richmond store

But...we need your help! This is going to be a huge challenge and we need the support and generosity of the Specsavers family behind us in order to reach our fundraising target.

The funds will enable the Crisis flagship Skylight centres in Edinburgh and London to offer life-changing, tailored support to people who are homeless, for as long as it is needed.

If you could donate a £ or two to help us reach our goal, we would be extremely grateful and just know it will help us push through those tough days.
