Story

From Our Capital to Our Community

Last year, Paul and I were part of an incredible team that walked 26 miles from Royston to Ware to raise money for Coffee and Coping.

It was tough. There were moments when our legs ached, our feet hurt, and every mile felt harder than the last. But we kept going because we knew why we were doing it.

We were walking for people who feel alone.

We were walking for people struggling with addiction.

We were walking for people facing poverty, mental health challenges, grief, isolation, and life's many battles.

And because of the generosity of those who supported us, Coffee and Coping was able to continue providing a place where people could find community, friendship, support and hope.

This year, we wanted to go further.

We wanted to prove that when a community believes in something, there are no limits to what can be achieved together.

So instead of 26 miles, we're taking on 32 miles.

This time, we're walking from the heart of our capital city, Tower Bridge in London, all the way back to the community we serve in Hertford.

From our capital to our community.

Every step represents the journey many people take when they reach out for help. Every mile represents the distance that can be travelled when someone knows they're not alone.

Coffee and Coping is more than a charity.

It's a place where people can sit down with a cup of coffee and be heard.

It's where families affected by addiction find understanding.

It's where lonely people find friendship.

It's where people struggling with life find support without judgement.

It's where community becomes family.

But none of this happens without funding.

We rely on the kindness and generosity of people who believe that nobody should have to face life's challenges alone.

That's why we're asking for your support.

Whether it's £5, £10, £20 or more, every donation helps us continue the work that changes lives every single week.

When our feet start hurting and the miles become difficult, we'll remember why we're walking.

We'll be thinking about every person Coffee and Coping has helped.

We'll be thinking about every person who still needs our support.

And we'll be thinking about every person who backed us and made this journey possible.

Please donate whatever you can.

Together, we can turn miles into hope, steps into support, and a walk from our capital to our community into something that genuinely changes lives.

Thank you for believing in what we do.
