Charlie's Longest Triathlon for MNDA

Charlie Reading is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

The Longest Triathlon · 24 January 2026

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page in support of the MND Association.

When an Ironman no longer feels like enough of a challenge, what do you do? You dream bigger—and harder. So I’ve set myself a new mission: three epic endurance feats in just a few months. 'The Longest Triathlon,' I suppose!

First up: cycling 100 miles a day for 9 days, from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

Then: swimming the full 11-mile length of Lake Windermere in a single day.

Finally and the toughtest: tackling the Arc of Attrition—a gruelling 100-mile ultramarathon around the Cornish coast… in January.

This journey will demand relentless training, grit, and focus. But I’m doing it for a cause that means a great deal to me.

The MND Association works tirelessly to improve care, fund research, and campaign for those affected by Motor Neurone Disease across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Your support will make a real difference to people living with this devastating condition.

Donating through JustGiving is safe, simple, and secure—and your contribution goes straight to the charity.

Thank you for your generosity and encouragement—it means the world.
