Story

Thanks for supporting our fundraising for the Longest Day Golf Challenge 2024.

Jamie Lannen (AtkinsRéalis), Adam Ball (Bouygues UK), Geraint Hopkins (McCann & Partners) and Mike Dacey (Rio Architects) will be taking on the challenge to complete 4 rounds of golf (72 holes) in a single day in support of the Macmillan Cancer Charity.

They will be starting at 6.30am and expect the challenge to take approximately 16 hrs, finishing around 10pm.

The challenge will see the team do around 14 miles (equivalent to 48,000 steps) and swing the club anywhere between 360 and 400 times each depending on the standard of golf!

Total loss of golf balls cannot be estimated at this time.

Special thanks to the Vale Resort, Hensol for allowing them to use the Lakes golf course to complete this challenge.
