Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

Crossroads South Ayrshire is a charity which provides rest bite care to carers. A few years back I would have so welcomed knowing that service was available....

The service is available through council funding, self funding but also at time if you don't fit in a box.... we needs us to fund it...

Every year our team have taken part in the Kilkwalk to raise some much needed funds to help those people who need a break but can't get it....

This year myself (recently promoted as a director to the charity) and my ever supporting husband will be doing the Kiltwalk in September in Edinburgh (one of our favourite city ever)

A few of you will not know but a couple of years ago I was stuck down with Guillain Barre Syndrome and was told it would take up to 6-12 months to walk again.... Stubborn as I am.... I was back walking in some sort at 7 weeks...

So this is a personal mission....

1) raising money for that charity which I believe is so much needed

2) Prove I can do it! (with my beloved husband by my side cheering me on)

So please donate! But also if you fancy joining our team please reach out! Our banter ain't that bad :)

Appreciate any help! Even £1 makes a massive difference!
