On Friday, 4 July Florence and I will be putting aside our fears and descending 215m down the side of The Leadenhall Building as part of The Lord Mayor’s Appeal Abseil Challenge. When this challenge was first mentioned, I had hoped I might be traveling on this date, but it seems I'm not so lucky and will be taking on the 'Cheesegrater’.

All the money we raise will go to The Lord Mayor’s Appeal and we want to thank you whole-heartedly in advance for supporting and sponsoring our efforts. Any donations towards our target of £1,000, however small, will be received with immense gratitude.

The Lord Mayor’s Appeal continues with its vision and ambition of creating, through their four strategic pillars, A Better City for All by supporting partner charities and continuing thought leadership initiatives. Their work will benefit City employees, residents and their family and friends, as well as those who live and work in our neighbouring communities.
