When Greater Austin Families are supported, our whole community gets stronger.

Each year, the Y provides nearly $2.5M in financial assistance to help parents stay healthy and steady, give kids safe childcare, and provide families with life-saving swim lessons.

This is made possible through the Community Strong Campaign.

Each year, more than 300 volunteers, staff, Y members, friends and family come together to help raise the critical funds necessary to ensure that the Y's life-changing programs continue to be available to ALL.

The Y is personally so important to me. I hope you'll join me in making a difference with a gift today. I love working with kids at the YMCA through all the programs we make available thanks to your generosity like kid's play (where parents can leave their kids and have the peace of mind to workout knowing their kids are in a safe and nurturing environment), holiday and summer camps(these are full day camps where kids are safely guided through fun activities that both engage their minds and stimulate their bodies. We do hands on crafts, provide nutritious snacks, take them on field trips,and guide them through the center to the playground, the gym, the group exercise room, the pool, and to the field to play group games and complete challenges! We get them moving their body and engaging every muscle group!), and kid's night outs (drop off nights for parents to leave their children with us so they can have some time to pour into themselves so they can give the best version of themselves back to their kids!). Occasionally you will find me cosplaying a popular character for the kids! We have such a wonderful community that makes sure our center is a hub full of warmth and acceptance for all! We are so lucky to have you in it and hope that you feel moved enough by our mission to give a little back!!! Also, if you are able to donate $25 or more, you will be entered into a raffle for an espresso maker!!! If you donate $50 or more, you will be entered into a raffle for an Emeril Lagasse air fryer and oven! ***Must be able to pick up at the East Communities YMCA***You do not need to be present the day of the raffle to win but you do need to pick up in person at the East YMCA!!!
