Story
After ten years of entering the ballot, I finally got lucky and received a place in the London Marathon! I instantly knew I wanted to run it for a cause that truly matters.
I'm running for the NSPCC because no child should ever feel unsafe, unheard, or unloved. Childhood should be full of support, care, and opportunity. Unfortunately, for too many kids, it isn't. The NSPCC is an amazing charity that works every day to protect children, offer a lifeline to those in crisis, and fight for a safer world for young people.
We’ve all been kids once, and I think we can all agree that childhood is a vulnerable time. You rely on the adults around you to keep you safe, to listen, and to care. Sadly, that’s not the reality for every child and that’s where the NSPCC steps in. I want to turn my 26.2 miles into something meaningful and raise money that helps children get the support they need, when they need it the most.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and if you’re able to spare anything, it would go a long way toward helping the NSPCC continue their vital work.
