Story
I don’t know where to begin. This isn’t an easy write up, and will be a short one too. Unfortunately, I, and many others, lost our wonderful friend, Dawn, to a strenuous battle with Cancer. I understand that Macmillan provided Dawn with a helping hand through the end of her battle.
More about Dawn. Dawn was the most selfless, supportive, loving (so very loving) lady and I know many people miss her incredibly. She has definitely left a large hole in a lot of hearts. There actually aren’t quite the right words for Dawn, she was truly one of a kind and I do not believe I will ever meet someone as generous and gentle as Dawn. If love could have saved Dawn, she would have lived forever.
Dawn constantly encouraged me to do wild and wonderful things: “Live life, crazy chick”. However, she would definitely not expect THIS level of crazy… I know she is looking down on me squealing with her hands over her eyes!
In October next year, I am going travelling around Australia and I have signed up to Skydive from 15,000ft over Whitsunday Islands on Airlie Beach in Queensland a month into my travels. Therefore, I will be fundraising for Macmillan in memory of one of the most amazing friends I could ever have had.
I would be so grateful for all of your donations, no matter how big or little, every gratuity is appreciated and counts towards support for individuals, friends and families battling the fight against Cancer. I know Cancer affects everyone, we are all in this together.
This is for you, Dawn! I’ll see you in the sky 🌟
Love to you all, Loren xxx
Thank you so much for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
