Story
I starting running in January 2022 and will run my first ‘half marathon’ on Sunday 3rd September 2023. I would like to raise money for the charity which is close to the heart of my running group ‘HLB runners’. There will be lots of training and preparation over the next five months and I will have the support of the other five HLB runners who will be running on the day. Please help me to raise lots of money for this amazing local charity and think of me on the day 🏃♀️🏃♀️!
Access Bedford work to improve access and inclusion for the Deaf community throughout Bedfordshire.
Access Bedford is run by a group of Volunteers – 3 Trustees and 5 Committee Members - and an Admin Officer. Together, the small team coordinates a range of events and activities across Bedford Borough to improve access and inclusion for the D/deaf community. They hold regular activities such as Deaf fit club, BSL Cafe, Deaf space and Deaf Coffee Club, as well as providing BSL taster courses and Basic BSL & Deaf awareness sessions.
