100,000 Steps in 1 Day · 24 August 2024

Child Action Nepal's purpose is to raise money to support orphanages in Nepal of relatively small size (20 to 25 children maximum). Child Action Nepal makes a huge difference to the children it helps, offering shelter, education and most importantly a loving family environment in which to live.

Story

Namaste Everyone! 🙏🏼

Child Action Nepal (CAN) is a charity which is very close to my heart. The care and love they gives to orphans in Nepal is unparalleled and changes the life of children in desperate situations.

Back in 2021, I took the challenge to cycle 150km. It took 5 hours 51 mins during lockdown to raise some much-needed funds. It feels like it’s time for me to challenge myself once more with something grim to raise some more funds for this VERY deserving charity and in particular the education costs of the orphans.

This time I am going to challenge myself to walk 100,000 STEPS in ONE DAY, in other words walk approx 50miles/ 80km on the 24th August 2024! I hope to complete it in around 16 hours.

Please donate whatever you can, honestly every penny counts.

Much love,

Loretta
