Story

I am fundraising for SameYou and would be really grateful for your support.

Last year my dad had an out of hospital cardiac arrest and after a long time in hospital and rehab, he made it home to us. If you like you can read his survivor story here: https://www.sameyou.org/portrait_malcolm

I am walking 6,000 steps a day in November for my dad.

A little bit about SameYou:

1 in 3 people will have an Acquired Brain Injury at some point in their lives - we want to help give people the best possible chance of recovery.

SameYou works to increase access to recovery for adults after leaving hospital and to facilitate innovations in specialist nurse training, fund clinical research and develop evidence for policy change.

Our long-term vision is to work with neurorehabilitation leaders to develop a blueprint for a new type of neuro-recovery centre helping people find their way to recovery.
