Story
My nephew, Archie, is suffering from a rare brain tumour. For his 16th birthday a few weeks ago, we surprised him with a special flight experience with Aerobility.
He absolutely LOVED the experience and it was so wonderful to see his enjoyment being up in the air given the challenges he is currently facing.
Aerobility have adapted planes, providing the opportunity for anyone with any disability to experience the magic of flying or learning to fly.
For years I’ve said that I fancy doing a wing walk…but never had the guts to do it!
Seeing Archie’s delighted face after the flight I knew this was my opportunity to fulfil a crazy dream, whilst raising money for this fantastic cause, to give other people with a disability the wonder of being up in the air flying!
So, on 19th June, I’ll be doing my wing walk to raise money for Aeorobity. It’s crazy and I’ll be very nervous! But I can’t wait to see the look on Archie’s face when he sees me do it!
If you would like to sponsor my wing walk, anything you can give to support this fabulous cause will be greatly appreciated.
I attach a photo of my nephew during his Aerobility experience!
