Lorna's story

I am particularly drawn to initiatives that promote mental health and rehabilitation, recognising the challenges many veterans face upon returning home. Whether organising fundraising events, volunteering time, or advocating for legislation that benefits veterans, my commitment to these causes drives me to be an active participant in their success.

Elysium Memorial Foundations mission to build the first memorial solely dedicated to veteran suicide is important as it recognises the struggle veterans face and gives those left behind some comfort in the fact that their loved ones struggle has been acknowledged.
