After hearing the news my friend had a rare form of blood cancer at such a young age, was obviously a massive shock, but seeing her courage and strength was so amazing she went on to host a very successful charity event for blood cancer raising over £2000 last year. Her cancer treatment failed twice so I thought the only way i can show my support was to help raise some money for her chosen chairty and thats why ill be running a half marathon in the hope to help towards this year's money she will be raising.

Thanks to blood cancer UK and the amazing treatment they offered my friend she has been able to share the amazing news that her treatment has worked and cleared the cancer. Which makes the run even more special now and hopefully all the money raised will go on to fund this treatment and help someone else in a similar position.
