Story
fourdaysrunning and fourdayswalking are at it again - trying to raise as much money as possible for CASPA. This year our adventures take us to The Solent Way - running 110km (68 miles) or walking 80km (50 miles) during the first May Bank Holiday weekend.
CASPA is a unique, rapidly growing and award winning charity that was set up in 2002, based in Bromley, providing support to autistic children and young people, and also to their families. For example, they offer a variety of social and life skills training clubs, residential trips and day outings suitable for members of different age groups; family walks and parent support groups for those desperate to find an accepting community; respite for parents and families who are full-time carers; and offer financial assistance so there are no barriers to accessing CASPA's services.
CASPA receives no government funding so every penny really does make a difference. The money we raise through fourdaysrunning and fourdayswalking goes directly to CASPA and our aim is for them to be able to open two new weekly clubs in September for 5-8 and 12-15 year olds, taking 50 children off their waiting list. Your generosity will help us reach our target for this incredible cause. Thank you for taking the time to read our story - we're truly grateful for any donation.
