My sister Julie lived with Lupus for many years . Diagnosis of this disease was difficult but after 18 months of investigation she was finally diagnosed with Lupus . Her condition attacked her internal organs resulting in kidney failure.She was fortunate to receive a gift of a kidney from our brother and she lead a relatively normal life for 22 years giving birth after diagnosis to her second son against the odds .

During lockdown she was diagnosed with lung cancer in which she fought for 10 weeks until sadly losing her battle for life .

I am looking forward to completing this walk with her sons and family to rise money and awareness to this charity in her memory.

She is missed greatly everyday by everyone that knew her .
