"The secret garden, a walled Victorian Garden about an acre in size, in the grounds of the Glenfield Hospital, Leicester has been lovingly restored by the secret garden project. It's a special place where people can come to sit, walk, enjoy and be 'nurtured' in a beautiful and peaceful environment, so important for wellbeing. There are plans, on paper, for areas of the garden, which remain untouched to be restored and my fundraising will go towards those plans becoming a reality as well as to support the work of the volunteers who give their time to lovingly maintain the garden (my dad is one of the volunteers). Only with the kindness and generosity shown is the garden here for those who come for whatever reason they come. Long may that continue.
