In April 2025, I retired from my role as Chief Financial Officer at the Bank of Scotland Foundation. Following my retirement, I started volunteering for the Day Service at The Eric Liddell Community Hub every Thursday.

The day service contributes to the community through aiding the elderly and those with dementia. I have seen firsthand the fabulous difference this day service makes to the clients attending. Every week, there is a a detailed programme of activities to ensure all the clients needs are adhered to. These programmes are run by the dedicated staff who ensure that all the clients are well looked after.

On 18th October 2026 I will be running the NEAPOLIS SEA RUN, 11.2km, as part of the Marathon Festival. For information regarding the race, see here: https://www.neapolismarathon.it/sea-run/

This is my first ever request for sponsorship, and all funds raised will be directed to the day service.
