On the 30th of December 2024, my beautiful sister Eilis left this world far too soon, after a short but incredibly brave battle with cancer. Her strength, kindness, and sense of humour , touched everyone who knew her, and not a day goes by that we don’t feel the ache of her absence.

Cancer is a cruel disease — one that has touched nearly every family in some way. In honour of Eilis’s memory, and to help others facing this fight, I’ve decided to do something bold: I’m shaving my head on the 22nd of August .

I’m doing this to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society, whose work brings comfort, care, and crucial research to those who need it most. Every donation — no matter the size — makes a real difference.
