Story
Welcome to my fundraising page for CoppaFeel! Last year, I signed up to participate in a life-changing trek across the Brecon Beacons all in the name of CoppaFeel. After sustaining a knee injury jumping off a ski lift (clarifying that its my idiocy that caused the injury, not the actual skiing!), I had to withdraw but the CoppaFeel team kindly provided me an opportunity to rollover to 2025 with my fundraising in tact!
So, this November I will set out on a challenging, extraordinary trek, all in the name of checking chests! Along with Gi Fletcher and some other famous faces, I will embark on a 100km trek across 5 days in the Sahara Desert (?!), in a bid to raise funds towards CoppaFeel's life-saving mission.
I’m rebuilding my strength and fitness from scratch, so feeling incredibly out of my comfort zone but I couldn’t pass up on an opportunity to push myself and show myself what I’m truly made of. I’ll be trekking alongside a small army of inspirational people, many of whom have CoppaFeel to thank for still being with us able to do this incredible challenge.
I’ll need to raise £3000 in total, an additional £1500 from what I’ve already raised, to take part in this trek. It’s not a small or lighthearted target, but breast cancer isn’t a small or lighthearted disease. I’ve known so many people in my life, sadly both directly and indirectly, affected by breast cancer and they have leant on the support of this wonderful Charity to help them through.
Any donation you support me with will not only provide me with the opportunity to take part in this experience and help reach my fundraising target, most importantly this money will support CoppaFeel! They are on a mission to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer by making sure that young people are regularly checking their boobs, pecs and chests and getting to know their bodies in order to have the confidence to see their GP if something just doesn't feel normal.
Thanks so much for your donation & support. To find out more about CoppaFeel! head to www.coppafeel.org.
