** UPDATE 31/03** we have raised enough to fund one cold cot which is currently being made for Ty Hafan’s Childrens Hospice. We are now keeping the page open until the end of the year to hopefully fund another - all in honour of our precious girl.

On 23rd October 2025, our second daughter, Lottie, was born sleeping at 19 weeks and 4 days gestation. We were incredibly fortunate that our local hospital had a cooling cot provided by Abigails Footsteps, which allowed us to spend 24 precious hours with her, creating memories that we will treasure forever.

A cold cot is a refrigerated cot that allows parents to spend more time with their baby than what would otherwise be possible. The cold cot helps parents to bond with their baby and aids the grieving process.

Sadly, not every hospital in the UK has access to a cooling cot. In Lottie’s honour, we want to raise enough to fund a hospital in need with one so that other families facing the heartbreak of baby loss can be given the same precious gift of time.

To support this, I (Kellie) will be running a half marathon every month throughout 2026, with two already completed this year in January & February.
