**UPDATE 21/08** Both cold cots have now been delivered successfully & the hospices they have gone to are so grateful. Knowing we will now help other families have the gift of time means everything to us both as the 24 hours spent with Lottie meant everything to us. This will only possible because of a cold cot. I’m not done yet - all extra funds will now go towards counselling for bereaved parents, bereavement midwife training etc. 🩷

**UPDATE 23/04** we have now raised enough to fund a second cold cot and this is being delivered to Shooting Stars Children’s Hospice in Guildford. All other donations are continuing to help and support the charity. This is all in honour of our precious little girl🤍

** UPDATE 31/03** we have raised enough to fund one cold cot which is currently being made for Ty Hafan’s Childrens Hospice.

On 23rd October 2025, our second daughter, Lottie, was born sleeping at 19 weeks and 4 days gestation. We were incredibly fortunate that our local hospital had a cooling cot provided by Abigails Footsteps, which allowed us to spend 24 precious hours with her, creating memories that we will treasure forever.

A cold cot is a refrigerated cot that allows parents to spend more time with their baby than what would otherwise be possible. The cold cot helps parents to bond with their baby and aids the grieving process.

Sadly, not every hospital in the UK has access to a cooling cot. In Lottie’s honour, we want to raise enough to fund a hospital in need with one so that other families facing the heartbreak of baby loss can be given the same precious gift of time.

To support this, I (Kellie) will be running a half marathon every month throughout 2026, with two already completed this year in January & February.
