As you know, I've been living with pulmonary alveolar proteinosis for the last 3 years now, with my little oxygen machine named Lungsey Lohan. 😆

Recently, I've been given an amazing opportunity through Royal Brompton Hospital in London who were able to get me the new and only drugs available to treat PAP.

I'm seeing results, slowly but surely feeling less pain and less fatigue, although the O2 sats are still on the low side, fingers crossed that will improve with time!

It's an incredible feeling, that after 3 years there's now something that can help me. Whereas before, there was only the option of a whole lung lavage (washing out the lungs with saline💀) which is a temporary measure and didn't tackle the problem at the root.

There's so much hope for the future now, being able to do more and perhaps achieve living a more "normal" life with a social life, work and exercise - all things I took for granted.

I want to give back to RBH to say thank you for this incredible drug, fresh off the clinical trials and it's by doing a charity walk across London.

I will be doing the walk with Lungsey Lohan, not just because I need her 😆 but also want to let people know oxygen users can achieve awesome things with some support!
