Story
This October, I’m taking on the London Royal Parks Half Marathon in support of the National Autistic Society—a cause that’s deeply personal to me.
My incredible daughter is autistic, and every day she teaches me about resilience, creativity, and the beauty of seeing the world differently. But I’ve also seen firsthand the challenges that come with navigating a world that isn’t always built for neurodiversity.
I’m running not just for her, but for every child, adult, and family whose lives are touched by autism. The National Autistic Society does amazing work—providing support, campaigning for better rights and services, and helping to create a more inclusive society. Their efforts make a real difference, and I want to be part of that change.
This won’t be an easy run—I’m not a natural runner, and training has its ups and downs—but I’m doing this with my daughter in mind, and that’s all the motivation I need.
If you can donate, no matter how small, you’ll be helping to make life a little fairer and more supported for autistic people across the UK. Thank you so much for your kindness and support
