I’m cycling 100 km on 11 January to raise money for Dogs Trust and Sparrow Schools Foundation

I’ve really got into cycling this year and wanted to set myself a big challenge. I’ve done some long rides before, but not as far as 100 km . I am planning to do it on 3 January, so the winter weather will add to the challenge.

I’m raising money for two charities that mean a lot to me:

Dogs Trust, which helps care for and re-home dogs in need. I love dogs — I have two of my own and they mean the world to me.

Sparrow Schools Foundation, which supports children in South Africa who don’t have access to the same educational opportunities as I do. It’s also my school’s chosen charity and one I’m proud to support.

My aim is to split the money raised equally between the two charities, but if you’d prefer to support one more than the other, that’s absolutely fine too— every donation helps and means a lot.
