This summer, Louis R. Scott sets out to do what no one ever has before: complete the first truly unsupported solo crossing of Mongolia on foot — no food drops, no medical stops, no outside help. Just one man vs. the desert, steppe, and mountains.
An ex-military endurance athlete, Louis is no stranger to pushing his limits. But this is more than a record attempt — it’s a mission with purpose. He’s raising vital funds for three causes that reflect his values and his service: children in crisis, military veterans, and rescue dogs.
Others have crossed Mongolia before, but never without substantial aid. Louis aims to change that — showing what true resilience looks like, honoring those who did the impossible, and proving that adventure can drive real-world change.
