We exist to defend the right to a safe home and fight the devastating impact the housing emergency has on people and society. We believe that home is everything.

Story

This charity football match is dedicated to the memory of Louis Dube. In the week leading up to his passing, he had signed up for a 10K run to raise funds for the homeless through Shelter, a charitable organisation. Unfortunately, due to his untimely passing, he was unable to fulfill this short-term goal.

We had our first Charity Match on the 17th of September 2023, it was a great day and a very competitive match where Team Dube won 3-2 . We managed to raise £835 and we would like to smash our record this year and aim to raise £2000 for Shelter.

Kick Off is at 3:00pm

Platt Lane Complex, Yew Tree Rd, Fallowfield, Manchester M14 7UU

Through The Louis Dube Foundation, we aspire to transform this charity match into an annual event, establishing a lasting legacy in his memory. As a man who was passionate about serving his community, we, his family and friends, are committed to preserving his spirit through various annual charitable events.

This event serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about homelessness in our city and also highlight the dangers of drinking and driving, emphasising the profound impact it has on the lives of victims' families and friends.
