Story
This year’s Walk of Hope takes place on Saturday 27th September 2025
I am going to be joining Emillie and her family raising money and awareness which will hopefully raise money to fund life-saving research and bring much-needed hope to brain tumour patients and their families.
As many of you know little Nia was given the devastating diagnosis of DMG/DIPG in sept 2023. Just 10 months later , 11 months from onset she passed away peacefully at home surrounded by people she loved she was only 7 years old.
No child or family should have to go through such hearbreak.
The Shibambo family had been incredibly strong throughout Nia's fight showering her with love and cuddles. Nia smiled daily and that was because of them.
The walk of hope helps with fundraiser to help find a cure for brain tumours, which kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer and any money raised i would truly be greatful for, so no other families have to feel the same pain and to most importantly continue Nia Noonoos legacy ❤️
