Around since 1923, SAMH currently operates over 60 services in communities across Scotland. These services together with our national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention, sport and physical activity; inform our policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.

Story

Getting out and getting moving can be the first step on the road to recovery for many on their mental health journey, so why not raise funds while doing it.

We are taking part in the Captain David Seath Memorial 5k hybrid walk/run to honour his memory and the funds he has raised in the past and the funds that will be raised in future in his memory.

We have decided that our fundraising will be in aid of Scottish Action for Mental Health as we feel this is a huge are that is currently underfunded via the NHS and that without SAMH many more people in Scotland will struggle.
