Story
He’s at it again! Anyone who knows Ant knows he loves a challenge, enjoys being kept busy and lives life at 100mph! This time, however, I’ll be joining in the challenge (and hopefully the glory too!)
Together with a group of 9 friends, we’ll be climbing Yr Wydda (Mount Snowdon) by torchlight on the night of 1st August in support of FORCE Cancer Charity.
FORCE Cancer Charity is a local cancer-support charity based in Exeter. It helps people affected by cancer-including patients, family members, friends, and carers-by providing free support services and information.
This charity is especially close to our hearts as a family. They provided incredible support to Sally during her treatment, but also as a carers/family member to Ant while he was in Exeter. For me personally, they offered complimentary therapies and counselling, but most importantly they provided a calm, supportive space- somewhere to sit with a coffee in the centre or garden when we needed a moment while Ant was receiving treatment or having a rest.
I also know many friends and families who have benefited enormously from FORCE’s support, most recently Lucy and the late Tim, whose friends we’ll be joining to complete this climb.
We’re taking on this challenge to help raise money so FORCE can continue supporting others in the way they supported us and so many others.
Any donation, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated.
Thank you much for your support.
Lou & Ant
