Louise is running the London Marathon for Battersea

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
Pets have the most incredible power to make a bad day feel better. Don’t they deserve the same from us?
Since joining Battersea, I’ve seen first-hand the incredible work and scale of the charity. Battersea aims to be here for every dog and cat, to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome them. In 2023, Battersea rehomed over 3,500 animals and actively helped over 600,000 animals in the UK and globally, thanks to all the work we do beyond our gates.
Sadly though, I’m also seeing first-hand the rise in the number of dogs and cats being gifted to Battersea and arriving at our gates as strays. We’re seeing owners unable to afford pet costs and in the last year dog strays have increased by 75% at the London centre!
Battersea needs our support now more than ever so they can continue to be here for every dog and cat.
Your donations will also help motivate me to achieve the huge challenge of running the London Marathon. I’ve never been a natural runner and last time I ran a half marathon in 2019 I fractured my foot… So please support me and help me cross that finish line!
Thank you
