The object of the CIO is the relief of children suffering from Battens Disease variant CLN2, an ultra-rare genetic neurological disease affecting children, in particular but not exclusively by providing grants and funding for treatment of and research into Battens Disease variant CLN2 to benefit the health and improve the lives of affected children.

Join our fight against Batten disease �

When Ollie and Amelia were just four and two, happy, thriving siblings Ollie and Amelia were diagnosed with CNL2 Batten disease. Batten is a rare, incurable and fatal disease with a life expectancy of six to twelve years.

Ollie and Amelia’s parents, are dedicating their time to raising awareness of Batten disease and hoping to one day find a cure.
