At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future. This is our story:

In 2022 Graham (Lou’s Dad) developed sudden onset Alzheimer’s. Graham was well-loved and looked after but sadly passed away in 2024. Alzheimer’s is a cruel disease, the journey is different for every patient and the disease can differ in so many ways. For family and friends it can be a hugely frustrating road for diagnosis, treatment, understanding and support which needs to change.

Lou and Kerry will be walking 26 miles in memory of Graham, 2 days before what would have been his birthday. However little the donation it will all help to assist patients and families to enable the support they need and we would be extremely grateful. Thank you Kerry & Lou
