Louise's fundraiser for BNI Foundation UK

Louise Eccles is raising money for BNI Foundation UK

Tandem Skydive · 24 May 2026

The BNI Foundation is helping to change lives by improving circumstances for children facing financial instability that negatively affects their educational opportunities. We support initiatives that provide resources to educators and organisations that make success easier for kids, either by removing barriers or by providing incentives for focusing on studies. For us, the mechanism to help with this shift is investing our time, treasure, and talent to assist in education where we can. We do this through our Business Voices™ Initiative and our Givers Gain® Grants.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for an amazing charity called the BNI Foundation. Not many have heard of the foundation but after hearing its amazing Managing Director and Chair Clare Rudd speak at our National Conference last year I was moved to want to support them. Clare shared her own personal journey and just how powerful supporting small local initiatives that aim to improve circumstances for children facing financial instability can be.

The foundation provides 10 grants twice a year to initiatives to provide resources to educators and organisations that make success easier for kids, either by removing barriers or by providing incentives for focusing on studies.

A local initiative to me was All Saints School in Stockport where they provided a £1000 to support their 'Breath of Fresh Air' project. It will enable children with restricted access to green spaces to have a nature-oriented learning area improving academic outcomes and stability in their early years.

So to support the charity I am fundraising by throwing myself out of a plane on 24th May.

To achieve this I need to lose at least 1.5 stones preferrably more which is why I am sharing my journey as well and multiple gym visits. Also why I am writing this just before I set off for my 3rd visit to the gym this week.

My target is £1,500 as this will cover the costs of 2 -3 Givers Gain grants to worthy causes that can change children's lives locally.
