Story
*UPDATE* whilst I wasn’t able to make the start line of my first official marathon only distance I did manage to take on the wall! 70 miles from Carlisle to Newcastle. On 13 June, in memory of a missed family friend who always brought love and laughter, Louis and I conquered a gruelling 70 mile challenge for Team Sarcoma.
Training as ever has been tough - lots of early morning runs and cross training on an evening between family activities. We’ll forever be thankful for the support of family and friends who have supported our training. Our next big ask is for your support in raising funds to change the lives of people affected by sarcoma.
Every Team Sarcoma runner in the Edinburgh Marathon will be raising funds that will be joining our community of researchers, nurses and other supporters in a pledge to ensure that everyone affected by sarcoma cancer receives the best treatment, information and advice available. Through funding ground-breaking research projects, helping our sarcoma specialists answer calls, emails and texts from anyone affected by sarcoma, and driving sarcoma awareness campaigns, together we can change lives.
