Story
This October, I’m taking on the 100 Mile challenge to support Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. Every mile I complete will help this incredible charity continue its vital, life-saving work.
Many of you may be aware that 6 years ago on 13th october, my family's life changed for ever when Adam was hit by a motocross bike at the Weymouth Beach race. Luckily the Dorset and Somerset Ambulance came to his aid and transferred him to Southampton Hospital where he spent 7 weeks recovering from a severe head injury and multiple broken bones including his spine, ribs and skull. Without the care of the team that day, he may not have survived. It has been a long road to a new normal and we are forever grateful for the care the team provided him that day and the support I received from the patient liaison team during his time in Hospital.
This vital service is run by donations. Your contribution— however small or large —will make a real difference. Thank you for your support and together we can ensure this amazing service is there for those who need it most!
