WISHH stands for Working Independently to Support Hull Hospitals. We fundraise to complement and enrich the services and facilities at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospitals, over and above what can be achieved by the NHS alone, for the benefit and comfort of patients and their loved ones.

Story

To say thank you for the treatment, wonderful care and so many acts of random kindness I have received throughout my journey I am organising a Charity Dinner. All money raised will be donated to The Queens Centre, Oncology Department at Castle Hill Hospital. It is hoped that we can raise enough money to buy blanket warmers to provide warmth and comfort to people whilst they receive chemotherapy treatment. Thank you so very much for your kind support.

Historically hospitals have always relied on public support, even after the founding of the NHS; Hull and East Yorkshire (HEY) Hospitals are no different. Our mission as a charity is to raise money to help the Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital do more to ensure every patient receives the best and most modern care possible. Your support will help provide additional specialist equipment and support services, as well as aid the transformation of spaces and facilities within the hospitals for patient and visitor comfort alike.
