The Kilpatrick boys have been given the fantastic opportunity to attend a week's training camp in Lanzarote in February 2025 with 33 other Carnegie Swimmers. This is a week's intensive training, where they will be training upto 4 hours per day along with a few gym sessions thrown in, it'll hopefully set them up nicely for the District/National Competitions from March to July.

To raise funds the boys will be taking part in a sponsored swim with their 33 team mates, swimming the distance from Carnegie Leisure Centre to the Barcelo Active Resort in Lanzarote the total distance covered will be:

4,181, 000 metres. Their coaches will track distances swum which will be published weekly.
