Schools' 6K Race & Fun Run · 22 September 2024 ·

We care for patients with a range of needs including symptom management, rehabilitation as well as end of life care. Our goal is to provide physical, psychological, social and spiritual care for our patients and their loved ones in a calm, peaceful and welcoming environment.

Story

Once again our wee Barra Ronan is attempting the 6k fun run for St Andrews Hospice on Sunday 22nd September 2024. This will be his last year taking part on behalf of St John Ogilvie High School so we really want to go out with a bang! Anyone who knows Ronan and his issues knows how much of a challenge this 6km is for him. Any and all donations are most gratefully received x

Ronan was diagnosed with a chromosome disorder when he was 6years old. It affects his speech and language comprehension and also affects his spine and skeletal development. Ronan also has autism and was more recently diagnosed with ADHD. All of these issues combine to make him the most amazing dude he is today 💚

At St Andrew’s Hospice, we aim to ensure our patients live as actively as they can, for as long as they can and ensure they have the best quality of life possible. Your support will help us to provide compassionate, expert care and support tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients and their loved ones - both in the Hospice and across Lanarkshire.

Thank you!
