I’ve finally plucked up the courage to attempt to run a marathon and have decided to raise money for a fabulous small local charity called Sight Support Ryedale. They do an amazing job offering practical assistance, emotional support and lots of different activities for people who are blind or visually impaired. Activities are things like dancing, walking, arts & crafts, shopping trips & days out.

The money I raise will go towards a trip planned for the summer on a fully accessible “Wet Wheels” speed boat out of Whitby harbour, it’s a popular one for people to go on as folk get chance to pilot themselves which must feel fantastic!
