Story

After seeing the super talented Elton John play live at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol on a perfect summer evening on 26 June 2022 (one of the most amazing experiences in my life), I am challenging myself to learn to play Elton John’s beautiful piano song, ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’ to raise funds for my chosen charity the Rabbit Welfare Association Fund.

My goal to learn to play fantastically this beautiful piece of music on the piano and a video will be posted on my just giving page at 6 pm on New Year’s Eve and on the RWAF social media on New Year’s Day 2024 showing the result- not at Ashton Gate stadium though! ! It’s a challenge!! Please help me raise funds to help the work of the RWAF thank you! ❤️🐇🎶

The RWAF is a very small organisation with a big message. Despite being one of the most popular pets, rabbits are amongst the most neglected, with a vast proportion living out their days confined to a hutch, alone and unable to display their natural inquisitive and lively natures.

RWAF’s work in education, campaigning and lobbying helps raise awareness to give rabbits fulfilling lives.

RWAF helps support the amazing and difficult work done by rescue shelters.

Together our support will make a significant impact on the lives of countless rabbits, ensuring they receive the care and love they deserve.
