WyePlay provides weekly mobile stay-and-play sessions for families with pre-school age children in South Herefordshire. We visit community halls delivering a wide range of play opportunities that aid child development and offer support to parents/carers in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Wyeplay provide Stay-and-Play sessions for pre-school children at 5 village halls in and around Ross-on-Wye. Their aim is to provide fun sessions for the children and provide an opportunity for parents and carers to maintain and build vital support networks.

Rachael's daughter Olivia, nearly 6 and now at School spent many happy sessions at Wyeplay and Grandad Geoff (Rachaels Dad) is now taking 3 year old Max most weeks with Grandma Jean. As a result of taking Max on a weekly basis, Geoff became Wyeplay's Funding Manager last November.

80% of Wyeplay's income is from charitable donations so Rachael and Geoff felt it was highly appropriate to raise money for a charity which very close to both of them.

This is Geoff's 1st and only half marathon, a Christmas present from Rachael last year!!!
