This year I'm raising funds along with my colleagues at Your Move Chris Stonock for an amazing local charity Chuf (Children's Heart Unit Fund).

They support those who are born with or who develop heart conditions in childhood, funding everything from specialist equipment and staffing that is far beyond NHS capacity as well as practical holistic support for families at the worst times of their lives.

My Grandson Sonny Monaghan 18 months old has undergone heart surgery at Newcastle Freeman Hospital in February of this year . As a family you hope you never have to deal with surgery for your loved one, who needs delicate surgery at early age.
