Cancer Fund for Children (Ireland) aims to ensure that no child should face cancer alone. On 16th October 2025, I will be taking on the challenge of the almost 150ft (44m) from the roof to the hallowed grounds below all to raise vital funds for the fantastic charity.

Their mission is connect, empower, and strengthen children and families so they are better equipped to deal with the emotional impact of cancer.

I have raised money in the past for the services and facilities in Northern Ireland and Cancer Fund for Children have now extended their services across the island of Ireland. The money raised from this abseil will help families struggling with the impact of a childhood cancer diagnosis countrywide. Construction begins in August 2025 for a second Daisy Lodge therapeutic short break centre in Cong, Co. Mayo, which will benefit families from all 32 counties.
