We’re here for the cure. Cure Parkinson’s is working with urgency to find new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.

Story

The Audley End Estate sponsored Walk for Cure Parkinson’s on 20 April 2024 is the idea of Louise and Richard Newman. We have numerous friends, acquaintances and family members who suffer from Parkinson’s and we want to show our support for research into finding a cure for this condition. With the support of the Audley End Estate we have invited a group of supporters to walk to help raise funds for the charity, Cure Parkinson's. Some effort is being required from participants, up to a fifteen mile walk with young and older participants but mainly those north of 60, as well as a number of walkers with Parkinson’s. The objectives are to raise awareness, show support and gather some donations.

Cure Parkinson’s is working with urgency to find new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.Their funding and innovation has redefined the field of Parkinson’s research, enabling the world’s leading researchers to prioritise the next generation of drugs for clinical trial. Together we will conquer Parkinson’s.

Your support, and hopefully your donation, will be greatly valued and will help develop a cure for this condition.
