56 Miles in February challenge for Refuge!

Louise's walk & swim challenge
I will be covering 56 Miles walking in February for Refuge.
In 2022 I was subjected to harrasment, coersive control, manipulation and stalking. I didn't realise, with this being someone I knew, that I was being abused till my friends and family pointed it out. DA often comes from those we know, making it harder to spot, especially when it's coersive and under the radar. It's not always physically violent.
I feel vulnerable and exposed sharing a part of my story, but I know the less we talk about it, the harder it is to spot.
Luckily I have a strong support network around me and found the strength to eventually take this to the Police, although that came with lots of fear too...
Not all women have the support I did.
I am doing it for those women and children who don't have a voice or support network. For those who feel alone. For those being coercively controlled who question whether anyone will take them seriously.
Here's some info below on the charity, but whatever you're able to donate will help change someone's life for the better and help them feel safe.
Thank you and much love 💗
Louise
**REFUGE**
On any given day, Refuge supports 7000 women and children. Just £10 could provide a woman arriving at a Refuge with the support she needs for her first night. Every £1 makes a difference. Thank you!
